This should tell you a little bit about me...
- Hometown: I was born in Fallbrook, CA. I lived in several different areas around Los Angeles: Riverside, Rancho, Lake Elsinore, etc. I definately consider Southern California my home...but I think the midwest is really nice too.
- Major/Minor: In May I will be graduating with a BS in Mass Media Operations with a Minor in General Business. I am not exactly sure what I plan to do with that degree...I just went for something that I was very interested in. I really like Marketing and Advertising.
- Career Goals: Lately I have been thinking a lot about the kinds of things that I want to do with my life. I am very torn between persuing a professional career and playing music (It is very hard to try and do both). I have a very deep love for music and honestly I can't think of anything else I would rather do than tour and play in a bands. Ever since I was young, this has been something that I have done. However, the other side of this, I have always desired to be educated and I really wanted to go to college and atleast get a Bachelors. I think it is very important to be educated, and college has opened up my eyes to so many different things. I plan on moving to Kansas City in May. There, I am going to get together with a few guys I know and give playing music one more try before I give up and "get a real job."
- Hobbies: I play guitar, bass guitar, drums, and I also sing. This takes up a large portion of my life. I try to practice as much as I possibly can. I also really like to work out (run and lift weights). I like to read. I also really like to watch movies. I am not sure if you can consider this type of activity as a "hobby"....but it's something that I really like to do. I also really like to travel. However, this has gotten to be so expensive that I hardly ever get to go anywhere really far away. If I do get out of town, usually it is in the form of a road trip to see one of my favorite bands play.
- Pet Peeves: This might sounds really weird, but I really hate it when people don't swear. I hate it when people have bad teeth. I'm not saying that you have to spend thousands of dollars getting them straightened or capped, but atleast brush them twice a day. I really hate it when people ALWAYS talk on their cell phones. I love my phone, but I am not constantly on it. I hate it when people bitch about cigarette smoke. I UNDERSTAND that it is bad for you and you probably shouldn't be breathing it, but I feel that we all have to live together and we should be respectfull and tollerant of other, and their "nasty" habbits. If it bothers YOU...just excuse yourself. I am not a smoker...I just think it is a shame that our society is so stuck up that one can not enjoy a nice cigarette and an alchoholic beverage at the same venue. Some people really enjoy smoking...I don't understand why that is so appauling to so many people. To me it is just the same as chewing gum. Gum is horrible for your teeth, but i swear to God...no one better tell me that I am not allowed to enjoy a delicious piece of Orbit. I really hate it when girls only talk about their dogs or cats...it's really annoying. There are other things to talk about, yah know? I don't like it when people smell bad. Soap is really not that expensive, cologne is not either. Ummm....there are a lot of things that really piss me off, haha. I also really hate it when poeple don't respect others. Racism is also really ridiculous. Oh, and I hate it when people put those stupid-ass Confederate Flags in the back window of their truck. I also despice overly-large automobiles. Does a college student really need a HUMMER? Does anyone actually really need a fucking HUMMER? I guess it's cool to drive the biggest car one can find...but is it really neccessary?
- Favorite music: I really like the type of music that people refer to as "screaming music." However, I don't like ALL the bands that do it. I am very picky about the type of music that I listen to. Some of my favorites are: Anberlin, Armor For Sleep, At the Drive-In, Billy Talent, Blindside, Brand New, Cartlel, Circa Survive, Coheed and Cambria, Copeland, Damiera, The Darkness, Dead Poetic, Death Cab for Cutie, Emery, Everytime I Die, Glassjaw, Head Automatica, Injected, Jimmy Eat World, Piebald, Saosin (Probably my favorite), Saves the Day, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Snakes Say Hisss, Sparta, Sullivan, Taking Back Sunday, Thrice, Thursday, Underoath, Vendetta Red. There are a lot more that I am into....that's just what I have on my iPod right now.
     
- Least favorite music: There isn't a lot of music that I HATE. I think rap is pretty ridiculous. I like music that has something to say other than "slap'n bitches and pimpin' hoes." I just think rap is pretty stupid. Sorry if that offends you...I just think it fuckin' blows.
- Zodiac sign: I don't know....
