- Hometown: I have a theory that anyone born in the Ozarks will one day die in the Ozarks...I'm desperately trying to prove this wrong for myself.
- Major/Minor: When I'm asked what my major is, my usual response is hysterical laughter. But, today I'm majoring in Global Studies with a minor in French. Parlez-vous francais?
- Career Goals: Eek. What a question. All I really want to do is move to East Africa (DRC anyone?) and work with a LEGIT ngo or npo that loves on the locals. I spent part of last summer living and working with wonderful people in Tanzania and I miss it more and more every day! If home is where your heart is, then my home is a small village called Bagamoyo.
- Hobbies: Synchronized napping, high fiving strangers, eating Moxie brownies, collecting pictures of Grizzly Bears, and spending time with my beloved roommate who just so happens to be taking this class too. Her real name is Brittany Butler, but you all should call her 'Beebs'. I also have a habit of accidentally killing our houseplants (R.I.P. Stalin). It has been said that I stalk NGOs like they're celebrities.
- Pet Peeves: People who don't tip delivery girls (i.e. me)
- Favorite music: Oddly enough, the last cd I purchased was Spice Girls' Greatest Hits. When I'm not feeling prepubescent I enjoy the music of Margot and the Nuclear So & Sos, Nada Surf, John Butler Trio, Rise Against, etc.- to name a few
- Least favorite music: If I hear Leona Lewis one more time I may inflict bodily harm on myself.
- Zodiac sign: Aquarius. Cheers to detached emotions and idealistic goals!
