In what now seems like a past life, I once used to teach a section of the senior "capstone course" GEP 397. My section was devoted to a social, political, and economic comparison of my three favorite empires: Rome, Russia, and the United States. During the 2006-2007 academic year, I wrote and basically presented a 29-podcast version of my "real life" capstone course.
