Hamilcar BarcaCarthaginian, father of the famous Carthaginian General Hannibal. Barca led Carthage to enormous victories in Spain, earning his city both land and booty. He also had a profound hatred from Rome from fighting in the First Punic War, which he passed onto his son Hannibal in addition to his brillant military thought and strategies. Barca died at a relatively early age by accidental drowning. His name also bears striking resemblence to something you would hear in a Saturday morning cartoon. |
