Kelsey Goin

Welcome to Kelsey's Home Page!

Kelsey's homepage has been commandeered by our mob of angry globalization protesters. One of the French activists is holding her hostage in an office, where she must live off of nasty omelets and mineral water. She will be released as soon as The Man stops globalizing. We aren't barbarians, so we shall leave the remainder of her page untouched (partly because we can't figure out how to kill the internet with pitchforks.)

Sincerely,

The Angry Mob

Assignments completed by Kelsey Goin:

All about me:

  • Hometown: Willard, MO
  • Major/Minor: Undecided, but probably Global Studies with a Spanish minor
  • Career Goals: To travel- hopefully to a Spanish-speaking country, but not Spain, because I don't like seafood and they aren't poor enough.  I would like to work with the Rainbow Network in Nicaragua.
  • Hobbies: Art in every medium but welding, reading (I love "Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" and anything by C.S. Lewis), watching movies, learning worthless information on Wikipedia, drinking hot cocoa
  • Things I abhor: Puns, chick flicks, long toenails, loud noises, things with wheels, humid weather, doing dishes, the color orange
  • Things I adore: Cookie dough, my Dictionary of Thoughts, lilies, climbing things, Twister, boxes, vanilla, Solitaire, Slim Jims, eccentric people, accordions
  • Favorite music: Classic Rock, Instrumental (namely the Pan's Labyrinth score)
  • Least favorite music: rap, polka, screamo
  • Zodiac sign: Leo
  • Favorite movies: Fight Club, Muppet Treasure Island,The Boondock Saints, 300,V for Vendetta, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Howl's Moving Castle,Sin City, Transformers, My Neighbor Totoro, El Laberinto del Fauno, Spirited Away, Arsenic and Old Lace, Everything is Illuminated, CashBack, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Shawshank Redemption, dare i say Grizzly Man? no., Love Actually, Snakes on a Train, The Departed, Iron Man, Snatch, Gangs of New York, American Beauty
  • Small, Bohemian factoids that fit in no other category: I enjoy mission work, and hope to go to New Orleans over spring break to help with the continuing clean-up and rebuilding. I played clarinet for seven years, but I honestly don't know where it is now.  I got married last August to Nick Goin, a trenchcoat-wearing, motorcycle-riding tuba aficionado and pastor-to-be. We live in a small apartment with ugly carpet and have no pets.  However, we do occasionally feed a stray starving artist.
