Welcome to GEP 397.762 "Rise and Fall of Superpowers!"

I am Dr. Joseph J. Hughes, Professor of Classical Languages at Missouri State University, and I will be your instructor in this section of the Capstone Course. Because this section of the Capstone Course is delivered CD-ROM this semester, you will get to know me primarily as a disembodied voice coming out of your computer's speakers. The first thing I want you, as my student, to know is that I remain committed to your success in this class.
