The home country of Andrew and Joseph Hughes. It's had run-in's with Russia, Germany and the Golden Horde. They're also the butt of many jealousy-inspired jokes (and rightfully so).

Today, the Republic of Poland is known for its awesome third generation Americans (see above) and the fastest growing manufacturing sector in Eastern Europe. Niech żyje Polska! My będziemy podnosić się znowu!
